There is a world filled with Indie Musicians and artists, writers, photographers, scripters....beautiful rolling hills, blue skies, rich plush green islands, beaches filled with white sands and full thunderous oceans.
Lookin up in the sky, filled with sunshine and flying Avatars(people), who can easily go from one scene to the next in a matter of seconds, filling up an entire night with live music is easy...Unlike the world we see around us, OFF our computer where gas prices have risen drastically...we find ourselves very likely hearing several musicians in an evening, or any time of the day for that matter, since the Musicians are from All around the World, performing various sounds on guitar, piano, violin, singing from the very core of themselves. This is Second Life...this is one of the most Richly animated, realistic, graphic filled worlds on the internet...this is where I perform (when I'm not performing at a Venue in my home area of Minneapolis/St.Paul.
I've been fortunate enough to meet several musicians in Second Life, great performers like Ricardo Sprocket, Cylindrian Rutabaga, Tukso Okey, Spence Wilder, Tone uriza...a Wonderful mix of indie Folk, Soul, Blues Acoustic, Americana. Of course there are Country M usicians, hip hop artists, Trip Hop bands as well as Metal, Rock etc....the Genres are endless....there are even Classical Piano Players, Jazz Musicians and beautiful blends of several genres.
I go by the name JueL Resistance in SL...One, because I honor my "Papa Jule" who gave me my first guitar, one he crafted himself by hand, and 2 because I come from a family of French heritage, which is important to me...the last name RESISTANCE was an option from a list of about 100 last names to choose from (we create our first name)...and that is what people know me by...and of course, as Suzen JueL...after all that is my name and what I go by at the Shows I do in the twin cities metro, as well as other venues across the USA. I would LOVE to perform in European Countries, as that is my heritage and For some reason, Germany, France and the UK are some of my biggest populations of fans.
Check it out when you have time...it's at no cost, but it does take some getting used to, so be patient...it's a Rich Environment that takes awhile to navigate and figure out...however many people are MORE than Willing to help ya out.
That's it for now.
